London District Surveyor’s Association Annual General Meeting 2007

The Association's Annual General Meeting was held at the Marketing Suite, the Guildhall, City of London, on Thursday 15^th March 2007.

The outgoing President, Andy Hardy, MRICS., MBEng., MIAS  spoke of the three themes to his Presidency, Education, Sustainability and Joint Working.  He said that more trainee graduates need to be employed in Building Control and spoke about the Career & Development Committee’s forthcoming graduate entry event with Hays.  Andy had also set up the joint working committee in London and attended the West London Alliance meeting and had established the sustainability committee under the chair of Adrian Cole.  He thanked everyone for their support over the last year and then handed over the chain of office to the new President, Adrian Cole MRICS

In his acceptance speech, Adrian thanked Andy for all the work he had done over the past year and said, “It is a great honour to become President of the LDSA” and that he would build upon Andy’s previous work.
