London District Surveyor’s Association Annual General Meeting 2009
The Association's Annual General Meeting was held at the Marketing Suite, the Guildhall, City of London, on Thursday 26th March 2009.
The outgoing President, Tony Fenton reported that his year had gone quickly. He highlighted the consultation on the Future of Building Control and was pleased that the training scheme was now up and running with good feedback. Tony felt that the LDSA was moving slowly to become LABC London Region and that Andy Hardy becoming LABC President in couple of years may help to accelerate transition. Tony thanked Exec Committee and members and wished the incoming president as good a year as he has had.
Tony handed over Presidents Chain of Office to the new President Robert Hunter-Jones. Robert then handed over the Vice Chairmanship medal to Trevor McIntosh. Robert thanked Tony for his work as President and outlined that he intended to give his full support to push forward training, sustainability and to promote LDSA/London Building Control in the wider context of LABC.
