I was admitted into the Association in 1995 on my appointment as Building Control Manager for the London Borough of Bexley.

In 2003, I was elected Honorary Public Relations Officer for the Association (a position I held until 2005) and also Chair of the Association’s marketing committee.

In 2005, I was elected Junior Vice President of the Association.

In 2006, I was elected Vice President of the Association.

In 2007, I was elected President of the Association.
